5 Minute Christmas Craft
Adorable 5 Minute Christmas Craft
Year after year do you want to make a Christmas craft decoration but never know what to make? Do you see family and friends homes with all these adorable diy Christmas crafts but you’re not sure how to go about making them? Do you think they cost too much? Well, I’m going to share with you my absolute favorite 5 minute Christmas craft.
These Joy mason jars took less than five minutes, and cost less than ten dollars to make! I got the mason jars for one dollar each, the letters were one dollar each, the ribbon I already had, and the Christmas foliage was about seven dollars, but was a fifty percent off door buster deal, and I had a coupon for twenty percent off my total purchase. I’m going to share with you how easily I made this. These are the only items you’ll need: mason jars (3), gold ribbon (or any other holiday color), wintery foliage, and letters to spell Joy. (I bought mine already painted although you could do that yourself if you prefer) and a glue gun/glue sticks.
The first step is to cut and tie the gold ribbon around the top of the mason jars. I did not glue them, although if you prefer that they stay perfectly still it wouldn’t be a bad idea.
The next step for this incredibly easy Christmas craft is to hot glue the letters JOY on the mason jars. The jars I purchased had a stamped image on one side, so I chose to glue my letters to the opposite side.
The last step is to cut and add your wintery foliage to the jars. This adorable Christmas craft takes less than five minutes but really completes your holiday decorations. I placed mine on the mantle above my stockings.
Making this takes so little time, effort, and money that it’s almost hard to believe it! I love this Christmas craft and might even be making more of them for family and friends Christmas gifts this year.
